Cranberry Crock Pot Sweet Potatoes
3 sweet potatoes, uncooked, peeled and sliced in rounds
1 package fresh cranberries or 1 can whole cranberry sauce
1 apple, peeled and diced
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 cup splenda brown sugar or regular brown sugar
1/3 cup orange juice
1/2 cup pecans, toasted

1.  Combine all ingredients in the crock pot except pecans
2.  Cook on high for 6-8 hours until yams are tender.  Stir every hour or so.  If the yams are tender, turn to low on the crock pot
3.  About 1-2 hours before serving, if the mixture is too wet, prop the lid open and thicken up the sauce
4.  During the last 30 minutes, add the toasted pecans.

New T-Shirt Quilt Pattern

This pattern uses vertical rows.  You can use as many t-shirts as you want then fill in with fabric.  I have 7 total rows.  There are 3 rows that are 14 inches, 2 rows that are 11 inches and 2 rows of 7 inches.  I will be anxious to see the end result.

Canvas Memory Boards

I have not posted for awhile.  This was my project for June.  I love coming up with ways to keep or preserve "Family Treasures".  These are for my two nieces.
